Perugia authorities issue Daspo Willy bans following crime incidents

The Police Commissioner of Perugia has issued ‘Daspo Willy’ prevention measures against four individuals following incidents of aggression, threats, and drug offenses in the towns of Umbertide and Bastia Umbra.

In Bastia Umbra, two individuals—born in 2001 and 2006—received two-year bans from a specific public establishment and its surrounding areas. This follows a September 20 police check near a local venue where officers discovered hashish, marijuana, cash, and drug packaging materials. One individual was arrested, while the other was reported.

In Umbertide, two other individuals received one-year bans. The first measure stems from a February incident involving a physical assault where a man struck another patron during an argument. The second measure follows a September 8 incident in which a man brandished a knife in an intimidating manner toward a business owner. These measures aim to protect patrons and maintain public order in the province.
