Frosinone's season prep: sold‑out Lazio friendly, 2‑2 draw vs Benevento

The Serie B club Frosinone announced that tickets for its pre‑season friendly against Lazio on 9 August at the Benito Stirpe stadium sold out within minutes, with the 1,021 seats in the visitors’ sector claimed in half an hour. Prices ranged from €10 for the cheapest seats to €80 for the main stand, with reduced rates for youths, seniors and disabled fans.

A week earlier, Frosinone faced fellow Serie B side Benevento in a pre‑season match at the Manlio Scopigno stadium in Rieti. The game ended 2‑2. Benevento opened the scoring, but Frosinone equalised through Giacomo Calò. Benevento restored the lead before halftime, and Jacopo Gelli secured the final equaliser for Frosinone in the 87th minute. Both teams used the fixture to assess tactics and player form ahead of the upcoming league campaign.
