Perugia Calcio receives binding offer for full club share purchase

A binding offer to acquire 100% of Perugia Calcio’s shares was sent just after midnight on Friday, 17 July. The proposal comes from a group led by club president Javier Faroni and includes local Umbrian entrepreneurs; a potential international fund may join after the share transfer.

The offer sets a one‑week deadline for a response. In parallel, club general manager Hernan Borras is meeting a prospective sponsor whose contribution could provide immediate financial relief to the club’s accounts. The situation remains fluid as the club awaits the decision.
