Perugia football club deals: player sale proceeds and ownership bid

Perugia confirmed that the transfer of forwards Daniele Montevago and Luca Bacchin to Modena generated a gross amount of about €850,000‑€875,000. After deductions for bonuses and a 30% share owed to Sampdoria, the club is expected to receive just over half of that sum. Montevago, bought by Perugia for €400,000 in 2023, scored ten goals in 34 Serie C matches last season, while Bacchin, a 2003‑born forward, recorded five goals and six assists before moving on loan to Pianese. Both players signed contracts with Modena until 2029, with an optional additional year.

In parallel, Perugia’s ownership discussions have progressed. The club has lowered its asking price for the sale of its shares, which had been considered too high for a Serie C team burdened by debt. Local mediators, working with a professional studio, are ready to submit a formal offer in the coming hours. The group plans to involve two or three entrepreneurs for the immediate payment, and a potential international fund may join later with regulatory approval.
