Perugia hosts second day of Terra! festival focusing on labor and rights

The “Terra!” festival, organized by Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra Umbria, continues its second day of programming in Perugia. The event focuses on social transformations, labor rights, and civic participation.

Key sessions include a debate titled “Redistribuire per cambiare l’Italia,” featuring FIOM General Secretary Michele De Palma, which examines wealth redistribution as a tool for strengthening worker protections and addressing inequality. Other scheduled discussions focus on urban regeneration and decision-making processes, featuring speakers such as Elisabetta Piccolotti and Vittoria Ferdinand. The three-day event is set to conclude with a rally featuring Ilaria Cucchi, Ilaria Salis, and national secretaries Nicola Fratoianni and Angelo Bonelli.
