Perugia joins Bloomberg LSE leadership initiative

Perugia has been selected to join the Bloomberg LSE European City Leadership Initiative, a professional program designed to assist municipal administrations in addressing strategic urban challenges. The initiative is promoted by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the London School of Economics and Political Science, in collaboration with the Hertie School in Berlin.

Over a nine-month period, Mayor Vittoria Ferdinandi and a ten-member city team will participate in training involving lessons and field activities. The program aims to provide tools to modernize services and strengthen organizational capacity. Key objectives for Perugia include the social and residential regeneration of the historic center, the revitalization of local economies, and the development of smart mobility through the ‘15-minute city’ model.
