Perugia resumes Gimo night mobility service with expanded routes

The Gimo night mobility service in Perugia is set to resume on October 2 following a summer suspension. The service will maintain all previously active routes while expanding to include new areas, specifically via Soriano and Sant’Andrea delle Fratte. These new zones are noted for their concentration of workplaces, production activities, and leisure spaces.

The relaunch is the result of a collaborative effort between the Municipality of Perugia, the Regional Agency for the Right to University Study (ADISU), and Busitalia. The project involves a total investment of over 228,000 euros through the end of the year, with 80,000 euros provided by ADISU.

Perugia Mayor Vittoria Ferdinandi stated that the service aims to make the city more accessible, connected, and livable during evening and nighttime hours, catering to students, workers, families, and businesses. Detailed schedules and routes will be made available on the official websites of the Municipality, Busitalia, and ADISU.
