Perum Perumnas begins construction of Samesta Alonia Jakarta vertical housing

Perum Perumnas has officially commenced the groundbreaking for Samesta Alonia Jakarta, a subsidized urban vertical housing project. The initiative aims to increase access to affordable living for low-income communities and support the Indonesian government's efforts to address the national housing backlog.

Minister of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy emphasized the need to accelerate and expand subsidized housing, particularly in urban areas near economic hubs and public services. Deputy Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Fahri Hamzah stated that this project marks the return of Perumnas as a primary player in providing housing for the people.

Acting President Director of Perum Perumnas Imelda Alini Pohan noted that the project is a result of synergy between various stakeholders, including the central government, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Danantara, and Himbara banks to facilitate financing through the KPR FLPP scheme. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, 100 consumers participated in the selection of housing units based on their reservation numbers.
