Perumda Air Minum Makassar partners with Kejati Sulsel to prevent corruption

Perumda Air Minum Kota Makassar has partnered with the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Sulsel) to strengthen legal understanding and prevent corruption within the company's management. The collaboration was formalized through a legal counseling and enlightenment session held at the Tirta Dharma Hall in Makassar on August 20, 2026.

The session, opened by the Acting President Director of Perumda Air Minum Kota Makassar, Andi Syahrum, featured material presented by Soetarmi, the Head of the Law Enforcement Section at Kejati Sulsel. The training focused on legal application, corruption prevention, and the strengthening of corporate governance, specifically regarding procurement, asset management, and operational policies.

Andi Syahrum noted that the counseling is vital as the company currently faces various legal issues. He emphasized that many legal complications arise not from criminal intent, but from a lack of knowledge regarding the boundaries between permissible actions and potential legal violations.
