Perun Factory in Warsaw to undergo major revitalization

The century-old Perun Factory in Warsaw's Praga-Południe district is set to undergo a major revitalization project. Developer Alides Polska, in collaboration with the architectural studio WWAA, plans to transform the industrial site into a residential and service-oriented space that integrates with the surrounding urban landscape.

The project aims to preserve the historical authenticity of the complex by renovating four existing industrial halls. These structures will be repurposed for service functions while maintaining their unique architectural features, such as pioneering welded constructions. The development is designed to act as an open urban space, connecting the Kamionka area with nearby green zones.

To maintain the site's character, the plan includes moving vehicle traffic underground and recreating the original industrial alleys. Construction is scheduled to begin in September, with the completed investment expected to be ready by 2029.
