PERURI hosts tuberculosis awareness and health screening in Karawang

PERURI organized a community health initiative in Parungmulya Village, Ciampel District, Karawang, to promote tuberculosis (TBC) prevention and early detection. Conducted through the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, titled ‘PERURI SEHATI’, the event included socialization on TBC prevention, basic health screenings, and medical consultations.

During the event, the Head of the Ciampel Community Health Center, Wiwi Widyani, provided education on TBC symptoms, transmission methods, and the necessity of early diagnosis. Residents received free health services, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol checks. PERURI’s Head of Corporate Secretary, Adi Sunardi, stated that the program aims to improve public health quality and encourage community awareness regarding health risks in areas surrounding the company’s operational sites.
