Peruri launches Chip Hackathon 2026 for Indonesian students

Peruri has opened registration for the Peruri Chip Hackathon 2026, a competition designed for university students across Indonesia to develop digital solutions based on semiconductor technology. The initiative aims to foster young talent and strengthen Indonesia’s digital sovereignty.

Registration is open until October 8, 2026. The competition process includes a selection phase to identify five top teams, who will then participate in a bootcamp to refine their ideas under professional guidance. The program will conclude with final presentations from the three best teams.

To assist participants, Peruri will host an online socialization session titled ‘Get to Know Peruri Chip Hackathon 2026’ on September 29, 2026, to explain chip technology and the competition's mechanics. Adi Sunardi, Head of Corporate Secretary at Peruri, stated that the program provides a space for young talent to innovate in the semiconductor field.
