Peruvian deputy Marlon Aguirre considers joining Fuerza Popular

Marlon Aguirre, a deputy for Juntos por el Perú representing Junín, has expressed the possibility of leaving his current parliamentary group to join Fuerza Popular. Aguirre cited internal political fractures and criticized the leadership of the group's spokesperson, Ernesto Zunini.

Aguirre alleged that the party is experiencing an authoritarian dynamic, specifically regarding the selection of candidates for certain parliamentary committees. He claimed that decisions regarding leadership roles in the Energy and Mines and Justice and Human Rights committees were made “dictatorially.”
