Peruvian Liga 1 clubs bolster squads ahead of 2026 Clausura
FC Cajamarca announced the signing of left‑back Arthur Gutiérrez on a contract lasting until the end of the 2027 season. The 25‑year‑old arrives from ADT de Tarma after stints with several domestic clubs, including Deportivo Binacional and Universidad César Vallejo, and will be the eighth professional side he represents.
Universitario de Deportes confirmed the acquisition of midfield midfielder Adrián Quiroz, a player Alianza Lima had pursued for months. Quiroz, a 27‑year‑old Peru national team member, said in a club interview, “Siempre me he planteado dar lo mejor donde me toque… un sueño hecho realidad,” and aims to help Universitario win the Clausura and qualify for the league playoffs.
