Peruvian mayoral candidates conclude campaigns in Carabayllo and Mi Perú

Mayoral candidates in Peru have concluded their campaigns ahead of the upcoming regional and municipal elections.

In Carabayllo, Rosario Peláez Ramírez of the Somos Perú party held a closing event focused on security, economic development, and health. Her proposals include establishing an Intelligent Citizen Security Monitoring Center with an interconnected video surveillance system. To boost the economy, she plans to create a Carabayllo Industrial Park, a Business Development Center, and a Single Business Window to support micro and small enterprises. Her health platform targets anemia and childhood malnutrition.

In Mi Perú, Katia Santamaría of the Renovación Popular party held her final campaign rally. Her platform emphasizes 24-hour surveillance at district entrances, increased patrols using motorcycles and trucks, and the installation of smart cameras and LED lighting. Regarding health, Santamaría proposes constructing a municipal polyclinic in Villa Emilia and a physical rehabilitation center, alongside free medical campaigns.
