The naval patrol boat PL-296 Ramis was deployed to the area with specialized equipment, including a water pump and fire-fighting systems, to reinforce extinction efforts. The fire had reactivated in sectors where naval personnel had previously intervened.
According to the National Emergency Operations Center (COEN-INDECI), the fire was brought under control around 20:50 hours. Authorities confirmed there were no injuries or fatalities. The causes of the fire remain under investigation, and officials are monitoring the area for any remaining hotspots to prevent further propagation.
