Pervari expands organic and traditional honey production

Efforts are underway in Pervari to expand organic and traditional black hive honey production. Local officials and representatives from the Pervari Honey Cooperative recently inspected organic isolated beekeeping production areas in the Karamık hamlet of Doğan Village.

The delegation, which included the Pervari District Governor and the Siirt Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, reviewed production processes and the current work of local beekeepers. The initiative aims to increase the district's capacity by utilizing its natural landscape and expanding production areas.

Erkan Bilen, Vice President of the Pervari Honey Cooperative, stated that the organization is committed to a natural, reliable, traceable, and sustainable production approach to better utilize the region's beekeeping potential.
