Pesaro and Urbino report export growth and new cultural venue

The province of Pesaro and Urbino is seeing developments in both its cultural and economic sectors. The new cultural association ‘Palco 50’ is set to open on September 13 in Pesaro. Supported by CNA Pesaro e Urbino, the venue is designed as a multipurpose space for theater, music, cinema, and training, with a capacity limited to 50 people to foster intimate artistic experiences and community engagement.

Economically, the province reported a 6.4% increase in exports during the first half of 2026, reaching 1.78 billion euros. This growth contributes to a broader upward trend in the Marche region, which saw total exports rise by 9.2% to 7.644 billion euros, outperforming the national average. Key drivers in the region include transport equipment, particularly ships and boats, as well as mechanical engineering, electronics, and agriculture. However, some sectors such as real estate, textiles, and footwear have experienced declines.
