Pesaro announces 50,000 euro lighting project to improve urban safety

The city of Pesaro has announced a new public lighting initiative aimed at improving safety and visibility in high-traffic areas. Mayor Andrea Biancani and Maintenance Councilor Mila Della Dora confirmed a total investment of 50,000 euros to target specific locations where lighting can most effectively enhance public security.

The project will prioritize pedestrian crossings near schools, such as Carducci and Mamiani, as well as public transport stops, parks, and other frequently visited public spaces. Following initial work in the historic center, the plan will expand to various other zones, including Via del Novecento, Lungo Genica, and the Via Pertini roundabout, to improve the quality of public spaces for citizens.
