Pesaro center-right officials report budget commission failure over waste tax issues

In Pesaro, center-right council members have criticized the majority coalition for failing to attend a budget commission meeting. The meeting, intended to address critical issues regarding the TARI waste tax, could not proceed due to a lack of a legal quorum following the absence of five majority councilors.

The center-right members reported significant confusion among citizens regarding waste tax payments following the transition of services from Marche Multiservizi to Aspes. Reported issues include requests for payment on already settled years, errors in inhabitant and property data, and duplicate or inconsistent billing. Additionally, there are concerns that the system has not correctly implemented the extended payment deadline of July 20.
