Pesaro hosts community peace festival and political assembly

Pesaro is hosting two distinct community and political events. The Festa della Pace is being held at San Bartolo Park, organized by Pro Loco Pesaro, Quartiere 9, and the Ente Parco San Bartolo. The event features educational workshops, Taijiquan lessons, and the inauguration of the ‘Albero della Pace’ (Tree of Peace), where citizens can attach messages of peace.

Simultaneously, the Festa dell'Unità, a symbol of the Italian center-left, is taking place from September 24 to 27 at Palaborgo in Borgo Santa Maria. The event aims to broaden the party's reach beyond the city center and address national economic and social issues. Democratic Party president Stefano Bonaccini described the gathering as an urgent forum to outline upcoming electoral programs, focusing on leadership, economic growth, security, and gender equality.
