Italy cultural scene: diverse musical and artistic events scheduled
Various cultural and musical events are scheduled across Italy, featuring a wide range of genres from classical to jazz. In Pesaro, the Ente Concerti di Pesaro is launching its 67th edition, titled “Beethoven, dall’ombra alla luce,” to commemorate the bicentennial of Ludwig van Beethoven’s death. The program includes 13 concerts at the Teatro Rossini featuring artists such as Viktoria Mullova and Ettore Pagano.
Other notable musical highlights include the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in Palermo, presenting a program of Beethoven and Bruckner, and the Orchestra delle Alpi performing in the Basilica of San Zeno. In Milan, pianist Alfonso Alberti will perform a historical journey of music at the Camera del Lavoro. Additionally, the Marconi Jazz Band, composed of young musicians from Pesaro, will perform at the Chiesa dell’Annunziata.
Artistic developments also include the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo in Padua, which is entering a new phase by expanding its collection with works by Anselm Kiefer and Jannis Kounellis, and opening the Palazzo Lanza as a new exhibition space. Local festivities such as Halloween celebrations in Crotone and the “Il Pesce fa Festa” event in Cesenatico also contribute to the regional cultural calendars.
