Pesaro hosts first Para Laser Run Open Day

The Italian Modern Pentathlon Federation organized the first Para Laser Run Open Day in Pesaro as part of the ‘Pesaro Challenge – Mettiti in gioco 2026’. The event aimed to promote the development of the paralympic movement.

During the session, dozens of children with disabilities and their families participated in activities including laser pistol shooting and relay races. Alessia Lucchini, head of the Parapentathlon sector for the FIPM, described the event as exceeding expectations and noted the importance of engaging with local institutions to further the discipline's goals.

The Open Day was held under the patronage of the Italian Paralympic Committee and attended by various regional sports and social policy officials. The next scheduled stage for the program is set for Rome on September 26, 2026.
