Pesaro hosts Masonic conference on equality and egalitarianism

The Pesaro branch of the Rito Simbolico Italiano will host the third edition of its “La Cultura della Massoneria” meeting series on Saturday, October 10, at the Charlie Hotel in Pesaro. This year’s event is dedicated to the theme of “Equality and Egalitarianism.”

The conference aims to foster dialogue between Masonic culture and civil society by examining the historical, philosophical, legal, and social dimensions of equality. Participants will explore the distinction between recognizing equal human dignity and the risk of equating equality with the elimination of individual differences. The discussion will also address modern challenges, including the impact of artificial intelligence and automated decision-making systems on social equality.

Moderated by journalist and professor Alessandro Cecchi Paone, the event will feature speakers including lawyer Stefano Caffio, Franciscan Daniele Gasparetti, and Enzo Bacciardi. Mauro Raimondi, President of the Rito Simbolico Italiano, will provide the concluding remarks.
