Pesaro hosts 'Two Wheels Between Myths and Legends' exhibition

The Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) celebrated its 60th anniversary with the exhibition “Due Ruote tra Miti e Leggende” in partnership with the Comune di Pesaro. The show opened on 7 August and will remain accessible to the public until 27 September, occupying three venues in the city: the Musei Civici di Palazzo Mosca, the Museo della Bicicletta, and the Chiesa dell’Annunziata.

The exhibition displays historic motorcycles and bicycles that trace the evolution of two‑wheel transport in Italy. Highlights include the 1921 Molaroni 3 HP, a Moto Guzzi 850 T3 (1975), a BMW K100 RT (1995), a Benelli 350 GP (1969), a Motobi 175 (1968), and a collection of off‑road machines such as the Aermacchi Harley‑Davidson Ala d’Oro (1961). The museum also presents post‑war “micromotori” that pre‑date modern e‑bikes.

At the opening, ASI president Alberto Scuro said the display “brings to public attention the most significant pages of motor‑sport history.” Mayor Andrea Biancani emphasized that the roar of engines and the sound of bicycles “reflect the character of our city.” Paolo Marchinelli, director of the Museo Officine Benelli, called the event “an extraordinary opportunity to showcase Pesaro’s motor‑cycling heritage.”
