Pesaro hosts youth basketball tournament for pediatric oncology fundraiser

Pesaro is set to host the 13th edition of the Halloween Basketball Tournament, a major national youth event organized by the Bees basketball club. The tournament will feature 64 teams participating from Italy, Croatia, and Germany.

Scheduled for late October and early November, the event aims to raise funds for the Pediatric Oncology department at the Salesi Hospital in Ancona. Through various fundraising initiatives, including the sale of merchandise and local products, proceeds will be donated entirely to the hospital department.

The tournament is divided into two main sessions, with finals held at the Pala Megabox. The event is supported by the Municipality of Pesaro, the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP), and several local Lions Clubs.
