Pesaro Opens Stazione di Posta Social Inclusion Center

Mayor Andrea Biancani inaugurated the new Stazione di Posta in Pesaro, converting the former Polfer building near the railway station into a centre for accommodation, listening and inclusion of vulnerable residents. The project, funded with €1.1 million, was realised through a partnership between the municipality, Caritas, provincial social territories, the diocese and other local organisations.

According to Biancani, the centre "restores dignity to the most fragile people" and signals the administration’s commitment to social investment, urban regeneration and public safety. The facility will consolidate fragmented services in the area, complementing nearby sites such as Casa Mariolina on Via dell’Acquedotto and the Parco XXV Aprile, and aims to become a stable reference point for people in difficult circumstances.
