Pesaro police arrest two for hosting drug-fueled sex parties

Police in Pesaro have arrested two individuals following an investigation into drug-fueled sex parties held in a private residence in Montelabbate. The investigation was triggered in September after a university professor was hospitalized in intensive care suffering from severe hallucinations and disorientation after consuming MDPV, a synthetic stimulant often used to lower inhibitions during sexual encounters.

During a raid on October 14, officers interrupted a gathering and seized 24 grams of MDPV, 12 ecstasy pills, various powdered substances, 3,000 euros in cash, and 1,000 empty capsules used for drug distribution. The arrests involved a 40-year-old Italian man and his 45-year-old Brazilian partner. Both have been placed in pretrial detention. The man also faces charges related to causing bodily harm due to the drug sale that led to the professor's overdose.
