Pesaro police investigate snatch theft targeting elderly woman

An elderly woman was targeted in a snatch theft in the historic center of Pesaro. The victim reported that a young man approached her on Corso XI Settembre under the guise of asking for information before forcibly grabbing her gold necklace and fleeing on foot through the pedestrian area.

Local police are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspect and reconstruct his movements. Investigators are also looking into whether this incident is connected to two other thefts reported in the area, including a break-in at a tennis club in Baia Flaminia and a theft at a grocery store near San Salvatore Hospital.
