Pesaro reopens renovated Parco degli Ulivi
The Borgo Santa Maria district in Pesaro has officially reopened the Parco degli Ulivi following a redevelopment project. The renovation was funded through the PNRR (Piano Nazionale Complementare) as part of a broader urban regeneration initiative.
The approximately €200,000 investment introduced several new amenities, including a playground with inclusive equipment and anti-trauma flooring, a calisthenics area, a climbing wall, a 20-meter zip line, and regulated football pitch gates. To enhance safety, the city also upgraded lighting and installed two video surveillance cameras.
Mayor Andrea Biancani and Councilor Riccardo Pozzi stated that the project aims to provide a safer and more functional community meeting point. This park renovation is one component of a larger €12 million municipal program intended to rehabilitate 47 social housing units and improve public services across six city zones.
