Pesaro to celebrate 536 golden wedding anniversaries

The city of Pesaro is preparing to host ‘Le Nozze d’Oro dei Pesaresi 1976-2026’, a celebration dedicated to 536 citizens who were married in 1976. The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Auditorium Scavolini.

Mayor Andrea Biancani stated that the event aims to celebrate these couples, whose fifty years of marriage represent both personal history and a piece of the city's history. The ceremony will feature music, special guests, and historical images of Pesaro from 1976, culminating in the renewal of marriage vows officiated by the mayor.

Invitations are currently being delivered across the city by neighborhood and Monteciccardo municipal councilors. Residents who were married in 1976 but have not received an invitation are encouraged to confirm their participation by contacting the Pesaro Municipality's URp office by October 30. Each participant is permitted to be accompanied by up to three guests.
