Pescara hosts sixth edition of crime literature festival

The sixth edition of ‘Pescara a Luci Gialle’, a literature festival dedicated to thrillers, noir, and crime fiction, is taking place at the Auditorium Petruzzi in Pescara from September 10 to 13, 2026.

Organized by the Numero Zero association and the Rotary Club Pescara Nord, the event features eighteen authors participating in eleven scheduled meetings. The festival uses the crime genre to examine social issues, historical events, and contemporary phenomena.

Initial sessions addressed crimes against women with writer Rosa Teruzzi and Anticrimine executive Ester Fratello, as well as female protagonists in investigative novels. The program includes discussions on the intersection of true crime and narrative, featuring journalist and author Mariano Sabatini, and historical investigations, such as a session on the disappearance of journalist Mauro De Mauro led by Professor Mauro Canali.
