Pescara Liberty Festival concludes sixth edition

The sixth edition of the Pescara Liberty Festival concluded in September, continuing the cultural tradition established by the late composer Sergio Rendine. Under the artistic direction of Eleonora Paterniti, the festival featured five free concerts held in Piazza del Sacro Cuore, showcasing a diverse range of musical styles including classical, jazz, and folk traditions.

Featured performers included Danilo Rea, Dado Moroni, the Jánoška Ensemble, and violinist Alessandro Quarta. The event also hosted an artist residency focused on drum and dance, led by Luca Rossi and Antonio Congedo, which culminated in a final performance. The festival's programming spanned various genres, from Vivaldi and Piazzolla to blues and film music, aiming to provide accessible cultural engagement for a wide audience.
