Pescara targets midfielder Langella and defender Ciotti as coach Buscè prepares squad overhaul

Pescara football club must finalize several player sales by June 30 to balance its budget before the new season. The club expects to appoint Antonio Buscè, former Gragnano coach, in early July.

Buscè has identified two Cosenza players – midfielder Christian Langella (born 2000) and right‑back Pietro Ciotti (born 1999) – as priority targets. Both are under contract with Cosenza until 2027, so any move will require negotiations with club president Eugenio Guarascio. Buscè’s familiarity with the players from previous collaborations is driving Pescara’s interest, but the club acknowledges that acquiring them will not be straightforward.

In addition to the two Cosenza prospects, Pescara is also planning to recruit a new centre‑forward and strengthen other positions, while completing required player departures to meet financial targets.
