Pescia and Pescina host cultural and community events

The Italian towns of Pescia and Pescina are hosting various cultural and community events.

In Pescia, the 'Pescia Antiqua' event is scheduled for October 25. The festivities will include antique and high-quality craft stalls in Piazza Mazzini, regional gastronomy in Borgo della Vittoria, and vintage and reuse markets in several streets. Additionally, a chestnut festival will take place in the gardens of the San Michele complex, and guided tours titled 'Find me in Pescia' will be available throughout the historic center.

Pescina recently held a weekend of activities focused on health, inclusion, and history. Events included free vision screenings in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, a dinner held in darkness to promote disability awareness, and cultural tours connecting Pescina with San Benedetto dei Marsi. Visitors also explored local landmarks, including the Ignazio Silone Museum and the Piccolomini Tower.
