Peñíscola to host 71st National Cocktail Congress

The town of Peñíscola will host the 71st National Cocktail Congress at the Palau de Congressos from November 1 to 4. The event is expected to gather over 250 industry professionals and features 52 bartenders competing for prestigious titles.

The winner of the competition will represent Spain in the upcoming world championship, while the second and third place finishers will represent the country in the Pan-American and European championships, respectively. The current world champion, Spaniard Biel Ramón, is scheduled to attend the event.

In addition to the competitions, the congress will include an exhibition space for distributors and companies, as well as acrobatic demonstrations. Local officials noted the event's potential economic impact, estimating it will generate more than 1,000 overnight stays in the area.
