Peso Pluma faces alleged U.S. permit revocation as journalist detained in Honduras

Investigative journalist Anabel Hernández reported that singer Peso Pluma has allegedly had his permission to remain in the United States revoked, according to U.S. security sources. While Hernández noted she has no information regarding travel restrictions for the artist in Mexico, she cited reports suggesting his status in the U.S. has changed. This follows previous allegations linking the musician to criminal figures.

Separately, Mexican journalist Blanche Petrich reported being detained at Palmerola Airport in Honduras. Petrich, who was in the country to cover a conflict involving the Garifuna community and the production of the show ‘Survivor’, alleged she was subjected to discriminatory and humiliating treatment by security officials. The incident involved disputes over the inspection of her orthopedic device and questioning regarding her purpose for visiting the country.
