Pestana Hotel Group appoints new Executive Committee members

Pestana Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Rita Marques and Helena Soares de Moura to its Executive Committee. This leadership renewal aims to strengthen strategic areas including information technology, marketing, human resources, and corporate communications.

Rita Marques will oversee Information Technology and Marketing. Her professional background includes serving as Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services, as well as roles with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Livraria Lello Foundation.

Helena Soares de Moura will manage Corporate Human Resources and Communication & Institutional Relations. She brings extensive experience from previous leadership positions at Banco Montepio, SIBS, and the Ageas Insurance Group.

CEO José Theotónio stated that these appointments represent an important renewal of the Executive Committee, adding complementary skills to support the group's growth, innovation, and market consolidation.
