Pestana Hotel Group opens Pestana Dunas eco-resort in Porto Santo

Pestana Hotel Group has officially inaugurated Pestana Dunas, a new beach eco-resort located on the island of Porto Santo. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, and the President of the Porto Santo Municipal Chamber, Nuno Batista.

Designed as an eco-resort, the facility emphasizes sustainability, environmental efficiency, and the preservation of Porto Santo’s natural heritage. In its initial phase, the hotel offers 218 rooms across various categories, including Classic, Family, Superior, and Suite Eco Resort options, primarily operating under an all-inclusive model.

The property features a buffet restaurant, a pool bar, and a lounge bar, with direct beach access. It is connected to the existing Pestana Porto Santo, allowing guests to share infrastructure such as the Spa & Health Club, heated indoor pools, sports fields, and themed restaurants.
