Pet Adoption Summer Promotions in Maryland and Pasadena

The Avenue at White Marsh in Maryland is hosting a Summer of Love pet adoption store, offering pop‑up adoption hours each weekend from July through September. Five local shelters rotate daily, with the event sponsored by Tito’s Vodka. The schedule includes Baltimore County Animal Services, Maryland SPCA, BARCS, Humane Society of Harford County and Baltimore Humane Society, providing space for community members to adopt shelter pets.

Meanwhile, Pasadena Humane in California is waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats (six months and older) from July 31 to August 9. The fee‑free promotion, called Hot Dog and Cool Cat Summer, is funded by the Pet Care Foundation and the Georgia B. Ridder Foundation and features nearly 100 animals. Each adopted pet receives spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, and age‑appropriate vaccinations.
