Pető Brúnó Adjusts Concerts Amid Hungarian Heatwave

Hungarian pop singer Pető Brúnó said the ongoing summer heat, with temperatures often exceeding 30 °C, is putting both performers and audiences under physical strain at large‑scale concerts. He noted that stage lighting and pyrotechnics add further heat, making hydration essential; the artist and his crew now rely on isotonic sports drinks rather than alcohol.

To mitigate the conditions, Brúnó’s team schedules most shows for later evening slots and, when necessary, pauses performances to provide water to the crowd. He cited recent events at Budapest Park, including a concert that followed a Jason Derulo appearance, as examples of the heightened safety focus during the festival season. Despite the challenges, the summer concert circuit across Hungary is expected to continue at full pace.
