Pet-friendly Halloween events planned in Colombia and Mexico

Various commercial and community organizations are hosting pet-themed Halloween activities. In Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, the association KNPROYECT A. C. will host the ‘Huellitas con Estrella’ runway at Plaza del 15 on November 7. The event invites dogs and cats to parade in free-themed costumes to promote animal empathy and responsible ownership. Participants must provide a 120 peso donation.

In Bogotá, Colombia, the Hayuelos Shopping Center is organizing a ‘Pet Costume Contest’ on October 24. To ensure animal welfare, participants are limited to a maximum of three accessories per pet. This initiative aligns with data from the National Federation of Merchants (Fenalco), which indicates that 73% of Colombians plan to celebrate Halloween, with many intending to visit shopping centers.
