Pet owners identified as primary cause of stray dogs in survey

A poll conducted by Clic Quer Saber indicates that a majority of participants hold pet owners responsible for the issue of stray dogs. According to the results, 57% of the 307 respondents believe that owners who abandon their animals are the primary cause, particularly regarding aggressive behavior in strays.

Other responses included 23% attributing responsibility to the municipal government, 13% suggesting shared responsibility between the public sector and society, and 6% pointing to NGOs and animal protection entities.
