Authorities emphasize that adopting or purchasing a pet is a lifelong responsibility. Potential owners must consider factors such as veterinary care, hygiene, supervision, and how changes like moving or illness might affect the animal. Preventing abandonment begins with conscious decision-making, as local foundations and the Centro de Control di Cacho cannot replace the fundamental responsibility of an owner.
