A Royal Canin‑commissioned study shows many owners are unprepared for senior‑pet care, delaying attention until health problems appear. This longevity trend creates demand for specialised products and services.

Pet brands are urged to shift from reactive problem‑solving to proactive prevention, building continuous relationships with owners through education, guidance and trustworthy support, rather than limiting interactions to sales moments.
