Petacciato hosts inaugural Foglia d’Oro contemporary art prize

The inaugural Foglia d’Oro contemporary art prize was held at Colle degli Ulivi in Petacciato, Molise. The event aimed to foster dialogue between contemporary artistic research and the rural landscape, culture, and nature of the region.

Curated by Vittoria Baratta and Michele Porsia, the exhibition utilized the outdoor setting of the olive groves, hills, and sea as an integral part of the artistic experience rather than a mere backdrop. The final results were determined by combining jury evaluations with public votes.

Ilaria Marinelli was named the overall winner of the Foglia d’Oro 2026, also receiving the public choice award. Irene Russo was honored with the Jury Prize.
