Petaling Jaya services to continue after Lee Chean Chung resignation

Following the resignation of Lee Chean Chung as the Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya, government services and aid distribution for the constituency will continue through the Selangor Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) under the Prime Minister’s Department.

PKR Information Chief Fahmi Fadzil stated that residents can continue to submit applications for assistance and contributions to the ICU. Local services will also be coordinated through state assemblymen, local branch chiefs, and councillors to ensure welfare needs are met despite the vacancy.

Lee Chean Chung resigned from his parliamentary seat effective October 2, following a three-year suspension of his membership in the People's Justice Party (PKR). While the parliamentary seat is vacant, the Petaling Jaya Parliamentary Service Centre is expected to remain operational to assist the local community.
