Petar Ratkov scores twice as Lazio dominate preseason win

Serbian striker Petar Ratkov netted a brace in Lazio's 4‑0 friendly victory over Ostiamare, bringing his total to six goals in four preseason matches. The performance comes under new head coach Gian Piero Gatuzo, who has used the summer fixtures to shape a potent attacking line‑up.

Ratkov's goals, alongside a late strike from teammate Matija Zakanji, highlighted Lazio's readiness ahead of the Serie A campaign. The club will play its first official match on 16 August in the Coppa Italia against Mantova, with defender Alesio Romanjoli also featuring in the recent friendly.
