Petar Sučić faces criticism after missed goal in Inter Milan victory

Following Inter Milan's 3-1 victory over Bologna, Croatian midfielder Petar Sučić has faced significant criticism from Italian media. Despite a solid performance, Sučić missed a near-certain goal in the 76th minute, an error that outlets such as FCInterNews, Tuttomercatoweb, and Eurosport highlighted as detrimental to his match rating.

This scrutiny comes shortly after Zvonimir Boban described Sučić as one of the best central midfielders in the world, suggesting the player's status at Inter must improve for him to remain at the club. While analysts note Sučić's ability to create space and carry the ball effectively, they have also pointed to issues with consistency and his lack of impact in decisive moments during the match.
