Petare warehouse fire destroys three structures in El Llanito

A large fire destroyed three warehouses in the El Llanito industrial sector of Petare, Miranda, on the night of Friday, August 7. The blaze began after 11:00 p.m. near the Lux Supermarket and the Don Juancho restaurant.

Multiple firefighting units, including the Caracas Fire Department, La Urbina Firefighters, and Miranda Firefighters, responded to the emergency. A command post named "El Llanito" was established to coordinate the response. While the flames completely destroyed the three structures, emergency services prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent areas.

Authorities confirmed there were no fatalities or injuries. Preliminary reports and witness accounts suggest the fire may have originated within a food company. Investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause of the fire and identify the specific materials stored in the affected warehouses.
